- There’s a phenomenon called the Pink Tax which is that women on average pay more for goods than men. - A great thread on the state of U.K. waters is linked below. You will often hear in the media (and in David Attenborough’s latest documentary series) that the UK’s water quality is at the worst it has ever been, with only a small proportion of waterways being free of pollution. Turns out that the single largest factor contributing to this is a change in the definition of pollution by the EU. I’m glad we’re being more stringent with water quality, however this is being used as a manipulative tool for propaganda without referring to the causes, making this an example of Wittgenstein’s Ruler (bonus fourth link).
